Series three: lesson two

Receptor Binding Mechanisms

The purpose of this course is to help students form a basic understanding of the necessity of receptors in the body. We will explore specific receptor mechanisms and intracellular vs. extracellular signaling pathways as they relate to the endocannabinoid receptor system. We will identify the CB1 & CB2 receptors, where they are located in the body, and how they interact with both endocannabinoids and phytocannabinoids to signal for specific effects. Provided herein you will find your lesson syllabus, a study guide, a short video, a printable notes template, and a PDF of our slides. Simply click on each of the images below.
